During that time, I have had several occasions to interact with Carl on both a personal and professional level. As a Realtor, I have helped sell houses and properties where he was either the owner or contractor. I have employed him personally and contracted with him on non-profit construction projects. In all cases, I found that he was a man who knew his profession, worked hard to do the best job possible and dealt with me and other clients with honesty and integrity. I learned earlier on that he was a trustworthy man of discipline, principle, and a distinct fand fixed set of values that he lived by and projected in to his professional life. I have watched Carl lead for many years within the Teller County Republican Party, including his service as Party Chair. He stepped into that role during a particularly challenging time—one that demanded steady, capable leadership. Carl rose to the occasion.
